The Secret to be stress free in troubled circumstances.

How is it that Jesus was able to live free from stress paralysis or fear’s paralysing power? It is important to remember that He too lived in this fallen world.

The world into which Jesus came was, a world encompassing even more sickness and suffering, malice and hate, treachery and deceitfulness than we see today. There were many things of which He could have been afraid.

His secret for a Life of Stress  Free Success was
1. that He had such complete trust in His Father’s love and power and
2. that He was totally committed to obey His Father's will,
He could therefore go through life free from the paralysis of fear. His fearlessness despite all the troubles and attacks which He had to endure during His life on earth was rooted in His complete confidence that His Father loved Him and would not allow anything to happen to Him unless it was according to His purposes.

Assured of that, what would He fear? Infinite wisdom and infinite love were over and behind everything. He knew that the most diabolical acts of evil were powerless against the throne of God. Jesus could face the darkest probabilities and not be afraid. Filled with trust and love, His mind had no place in which fear could hide. He encourages us to follow Him and also not to fear or be stressed about anything. We are  to enjoy the  fact that we are the target of His love, forgiveness, blessings and life and we are to trust and obey our Father.

But as it is written 1 Cor 2:
9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Meditate on the above and  you will understand the importance of the words of Jesus to Nicodemus in Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The most important questions you therefore need to answer in your life-time and especially before it is too late are the following:
Ask the person in the mirror,  1."Are you sure you are born again?'. 2. "How do you know you are born again?" i.e. How do you know that you are a 'sheep' and not merely a 'goat' making 'sheep' noises ?" i.e. Are you still a natural person or are you a spiritual person?
